CS Pre-Examination Test and Programme

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), has permitted a temporary relaxation to the need for the pre-examination test and one-day orientation Programme for registration for the June 2021 session of CS Examinations.

The candidates are required to follow the Pre-Examination Test (Applicable for scholars of the Executive and Professional Programme beneath the 2017 New Syllabus) and a one-day Orientation Programme (Applicable for scholars of the Foundation and Executive Programme enrolled on or after 1st June 2019), according to the rules for enrollment to June 2021 Session of CS Examinations.

In a press release, the institute has chosen to temporarily relax the 2 prerequisites. For 1st one, those students who can not complete the mentioned 2 prerequisites by the last date as per their respective causes are temporarily permitted to sit in the Company Secretaries Examinations, June 2021 Session, with not complying with the stated 2 requisites. But they are needed to follow the stated requisites on or before 31st July 2021, at 16:00 Hours. Secondly, the candidates registered for Company Secretaries Examinations, December 2020 Session and opt-out for June 2021 Session of Examination, have been enabled to finish the stated 2 requisites on or before 31st July 2021, at 16:00 Hours, if they have not complied it before.

Towards the hurdles faced by the candidates from the pandemic, relaxation has been conferred to them. 

“This relaxation is granted only for company secretaries’ Examinations, June 2021 Session without creating any precedent for the future,” the Institute stated.
