No. 13-CA (EXAM)/NOVEMBER – DECEMBER/2023: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Council is pleased to announce that the upcoming Chartered Accountants Foundation, Intermediate, and Final Examinations will be held on the dates and locations listed below, provided that a sufficient number of candidates volunteer to appear from each of the below-mentioned places, in accordance with Regulation 22 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.
Similarly to that, the examinations for the Post Qualification Course required by Regulation 204, including the International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) and the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination (open to members of the Institute only), will be held on the dates and locations (Indian centres only) listed below, assuming that a sufficient number of candidates volunteer to take part from each of the locations listed.

On 12th November 2023 (Sunday) no examination would get scheduled on account of Diwali (Deepawali) being a compulsory (gazetted) Central Government holiday according to F. No. 12/5/2022-JCA-2 on 16.06.2022 issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance and Pensions, Government of India.
It should be noted that if any day of the examination schedule is declared a public holiday by the Central Government or any State Government/Local Bodies, there would be no alteration in the examination schedule.
Paper(s) 3 & 4 of the Foundation Examination are of the duration of 2 hours. Likewise, Elective Paper – 6 of the Final Examination and all papers of the International Taxation – Assessment Test are of a duration of 4 hours. Therefore, all other examinations are of 3 hours duration, and the examination-wise timing(s) are given below:
There will not be any advance reading time in papers 3 and 4 of the foundation examination and all the papers of the Post qualification course examination while in all the other papers/exams specified above, there will be a 15 min advance reading time allotted from 1.45 PM (IST) to 2 PM (IST).
For the case of the composite paper that secures both MCQs-based and Descriptive Question Papers, the seal of MCQs based Question Paper would be opened at 2 PM (IST), therefore for MCQs-based Question Papers, there will be no prior reading time.
