It has been decided to extend the due date of the online empanelment of members to act as observers at the examination centres for the Chartered Accountants Examinations, September/November 2024, up to 20th August 2024. The qualified members who can not get empanelled might now obtain themselves empanelled to act as observers for September/November 2024 examinations up to 20th August 2024.

The qualified unempanelled Members may now get themselves empanelled to act as observers for September/November 2024 examinations up to 20th August 2024.
Remember that Eligible Members are directed to empanel afresh in every exam cycle.

It is to be learned that the Examination Committee at its 648th Meeting held on 8th and 9th January 2024 among other things has decided that there must be a cooling off period for one attempt after three (3) consecutive attempts for Observership duties. It is applicable w.e.f. May 2024 with retrospective details.
