Capable Chartered Accountants are invited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) as Examiners for the Chartered Accountant Examinations (to conduct digital evaluations).
The institute is welcoming applications from eligible members of the Institute and other concerned professionals like academicians of renowned organizations, tax and legal petitioners etc. who have expertise in academic activities (valuation of answer sheets, undertaking confidential assignments) and wish to volunteer as an examiner for Chartered Accountant Examinations.

Who can Volunteer as Examiner For Chartered Accountant Examinations:
- CA with a minimum of five years’ experience in self-practice or serving any company.
- Lecturers or teachers from Universities with a minimum of five years of teaching experience.
- ICWA, ACS, M.Com, Post Graduates in Economics or Law, Lawyers, IT Professionals, MBA (Finance) and other professionals with a minimum of five years experience in academics or practice or service in the company. Persons with a direct link to the above-mentioned subjects will be preferred over others.
- Persons above the age of 70 years are not allowed to volunteer as examiners.
- Anyone with visual impairment or suffering from any other physical disability shall not apply to volunteer as Examiners.
- Students who are pursuing any of the CA courses must not apply.
- Those whose applications were rejected by the previous panel are eligible to apply after the gap of 1 year (starting from the date).
- Persons already impaneled by ICAI and have not yet rested or removed shall not apply.
- Any person involved in giving coachings is not eligible to apply for the examiner. Persons who have stopped giving coachings shall apply only after the gap five years.
There is an online system commenced by ICAI that lets the Examiners evaluate the answer sheets of the students (online) in a phased manner and therefore it is completely convenient for the volunteers as they can work anytime and anywhere.
However, training sessions will be held to guide the examiners before they take up any of the related assignments.
