The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has declared a new date schedule for the CA Final exams in November 2024, taking into account the Diwali (Deepavali) Festival, celebrations throughout India. The revised schedule will see Group 1 exams beginning on November 3, followed by Group 2 exams commencing on November 9.
Latest Update: The ICAI is rescheduling its November Chartered Accountants Final Course Examination, Group II, Paper – 6, Integrated Business Solutions (Multi-Disciplinary Case Studies) at Exam Centers in Hazaribagh (Jharkhand), Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), Ranchi (Jharkhand), Raipur (Chhattisgarh), and Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan) due to the Election to Assemblies Constituencies / Parliamentary Constituencies in other States on 13th November 2024 (Wednesday). The exams were originally scheduled to take place from November 1 to 11. The ICAI’s announcement stated that the adjustment was implemented to align with the Diwali celebrations, slated for October 29 to November 3 this year.

Furthermore, the CA Final exam dates have been modified, and the schedule for the Chartered Accountants Post Qualification Course(s) exams, along with the International Taxation-Assessment Test (INTT-AT) and the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination, shall not get amended.

Important Announcement: New Dates for the CA Final Exam in November 2024
The Chartered Accountant Final Examinations scheduled for November 2024 have been rescheduled in India. The new examination schedule is provided below for your reference. Candidates who are planning to appear for the Chartered Accountant Final Examination in both groups in November 2024 can check the official website of ICAI at icai.org for the updated dates.

The changed dates for the CA Final exams are as follows: On November 3, 5, and 7, Group 1 exams will be held and Group 2 exams will be held on November 9, 11, and 13. Candidates should be aware that the examination schedule will remain unchanged, even if the government designates any of these dates as a public holiday.
Along with the exam postponement, ICAI has reopened the application period for two additional days, permitting candidates to send in their applications with a late fee of Rs 600 on September 11 and 12.
Chartered Accountants Post Qualification Course(s) examinations timetable in the International Taxation-Assessment Test (INTT-AT) and Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination in November 2024 will not be changed.
It should also be emphasized that the examination schedule will remain unchanged, even if any day within the aforementioned schedule is declared a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government/Local Authority.
However, it is quoted that other particulars/details as announced vide Important Announcement on 18th July 2024 hosted ICAI website will not get revised.
