The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has been busy during the lockdowns to make more and more things online, and in the same view, ICAI is now going to conduct Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (Advanced ICITSS) -Advanced Information Technology Test through online mode or as ICAI said Home-Based Mode.
The said test will be conducted on Sunday, June 21, 2020, between 10:30 and 12:30 (IST). This test will be only for those who have qualified the Advanced ITT training requirements as on June 10, 2020, and have either qualified the Final Old exam held in November 2019 and could not participate in Advanced ICITSS IT test or the Final New Exam candidates held in November 2019, the results of which have been kept on hold till clearing the examination.
The candidates have to first apply at http://advit.icaiexam.icai.org and complete the payment process. The candidate has to fill the form before the last date because there is nothing like a late fee. Candidate can appear in the proctored home-based test from their preferred location using their own laptop/PC which has a webcam and a good internet connection.

The ICAI also limited the options to do change the date of exam for some or all candidates because of the expected volume of candidates, there is also a possibility that exam can be organized on more dates too. If this happens the candidates will be informed through the admit cards.
The candidates who are applying for this test for the first time doesn’t have to pay the test fee. However, those who are not completely new for this test (from second time onwards) will have to pay the required test fee of Rs.500/- through online mode of payment if you belong from India, the fee is USD $ 150 for candidates who are appearing from Dubai and INR 850 if appearing from Nepal. It needs to be remembered that the last date for applying for this test is on June 13, 2020.
