The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced that it will conduct Advanced ICITSS -Advanced Information Technology Test through online mode and now a “5 Days Online Refresher Course on Income Tax Appellate Proceedings” will be organized by the Direct Taxes Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The 5 days Online Course is consists of 15 Structured CPE hours and it will be organized between June 18, 2020, to June 22, 2020, from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
There will be a registration fee of Rs.1200 with 18% GST, and the Online Registration can be done from here.
Hon’ble Justice P. P. Bhatt, President of Income Tax Appellate Tribunal will address keynote. And the course will cover the topics broadly from the overview of remedies available to an aggrieved assessee including rectifications, revision, with specific reference to appellate proceedings, appeal before CIT(A), and appeal before ITAT.

However, there will be limited number of seats available for the refresher course and the registration and seat allotment will be based on a first-come-first-served basis. After successful registration members will be eligible for a credit of 15 Structured CPE Hours.
The objective of this 5-day online refresher course on Income Tax Appellate Proceedings will be to improve the knowledge and understanding of members in a better and effective manner to discharge their professional duties and to provide in-depth knowledge on Income Tax Appellate proceedings. The course will also provide opportunities for members with respect to the need of industry and profession.
