ICAI launches Accounts Assistant Scheme For CA Development

ICAI launches Accounts Assistant Scheme CA

An accounts assistant policy has incorporated with respect to the talent development and the employability of CA which is executed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI)

For providing the contribution to the talent development and providing the youth with employment through giving them the appropriate training to develop the talent for the Accounting, Tax Compliances & related topics and to develop expertise on book-keeping, GST and Income Tax Compliances, the ICAI ARF accounts assistant policy has been incorporated through the Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Hon’ble Minister of State for Finance & Corporate Affairs at ICAI Head Office, New Delhi. It is the initiative for the youth and leading them for employment. 

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) made the ICAI Accounting Research Foundation (ICAI ARF), a major research firm towards the financial scheme, accounting, auditing, capital markets, and the other concerned objectives.

So to enhance the findings ICAI Accounting Research Foundation (ICAI ARF) undergoes and has furnished several fundamental and practical research projects. Indeed it guides financial guidance to the students for undergoing fundamental research projects of modern national and international importance in the above-mentioned domains. 

Anurag Singh Thakur, Hon’ble Minister during congratulating ICAI said that “This Pilot Project of ICAI ARF is being launched initially for local youth of Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh. This scheme is going to help the students who are above the age of 21 years & will train the local youth for bookkeeping, GST filing, and understanding the tax procedures of GST. This is a major step towards employment of the local youth and the fee structure is also reasonable.”  

The minister moreover said that “As this Scheme is being monitored & evaluated by ICAI, the premier accountancy body of India, it has more credibility and the students who will clear this scheme shall get the chance to intern with experienced CAs, organizations, etc. The experience gained by the students would help them to get jobs locally & through ICAI job portal, they will have ample career opportunities.”  

Some policy specifications were stated under:

A skill training is to be given and the estimation via a rigorous procedure which is regulated through the ICAI ARF

to prepare youth at the ground level the policy is to be given together with an NGO/Trust,

“From the time of its inception, the ICAI has consistently held the lofty vision and established a tradition of educating the students by constantly working for their all-round development. This Pilot Project of Accounts Assistant Scheme is one more step towards ICAI’s constant endeavor to encourage the young aspirants who wish to pursue their dream of gaining knowledge in the field of accountancy and serve the nation with their capabilities and knowledge,” he added. 

This is for interested individuals and laid them for skill empowerment and became a part of the economy.
