Due to the Nivar cyclone, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has rescheduled the Intermediate & IPC Examination in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
For the mentioned centres only at the same time the rescheduled Intermediate and IPC Examination will be conducted on 9th December 2020 and the Final both Old & New Examination shall be held on 11th December 2020.

“In view of heavy rains due to Nivar cyclone and consequent disruption of normal life in some cities in the State of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (U.T), the Chartered Accountants Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Examination (Group I), Paper 2, Business Laws, Ethics and Communication & Intermediate Examination (Group I), Paper 2, Corporate and Other Laws and Final (Old) Examination (Group I), Paper 3 & Final (New) Examination (Group I) Paper 3, Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics scheduled to be held on 24th and 25th November 2020,”
The institute has given the notification for CA exams are rescheduled in cities such as Nagapattinam, Pudukkottai, Tiruvallur & Villupuram, Tamil Nadu namely Chennai, Cuddalore, Kancheepuram, Karaikudi, Kumbakonam, and Puducherry.
The admit cards previously provided will be valid for the rescheduled date.
The institute clarifies that “However, it is clarified that the schedule of examinations notified vide Notification No.13- CA(Exam)/N/2020 dated 21st August 2020 in respect of all other cities shall remain unchanged,”
