The final and intermediate chartered accountants exams have been extended by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) which was set to get started from 21st (Final) / 22nd (Intermediate) May 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in the interest of welfare & well – being of students and to mitigate their hardships, it has been decided to postpone the Final and Intermediate Chartered Accountants Examinations which are scheduled to commence from 21st (Final) / 22nd (Intermediate) May 2021 across the globe,” the ICAI commented.

ICAI declared that the circumstances of the pandemic shall be analyzed as per the covid cases or MHA rules, or with the guidelines pointed through the Centre and State Government, and then the revised dates will be provided to the candidates. Besides that, a notice for at least 25 days will be furnished prior to the start of the exam.
