Expression of Interest (EOI) has been invited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from software companies for the especially and exquisitely designed software for the Chartered Accountancy firms and practitioners.
The Committee for Capacity Building of Members in Practice (CCBMP) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) summons Expression of Interest (EOI) from the software companies who are interested and willing to offer pertinent software for the Practitioners & CA Firms of ICAI by March 31, 2017.
ICAI’s Committee has taken this initiative to motivate and upgrade the knowledge, competence, and skills and to boost the professional growth of the Accounting practitioners & CA Firms.
The intending parties are required to have a considerable level of proficiency in the field combined with the insight about the various aspects of the CA profession and they should be willing to rebrand its existing software.
The selected software company will not be allowed to use any of its logo or ancillary document on the software provided to ICAI members without the consent of ICAI.

In addition the interested software company is expected to offer license at zero discounted or subsidized cost to the CA, to any registered member with ICAI including all present and future offices of ICAI and to all present and future Information Technology Training Centers of ICAI across India for the initial two years from activation date of MOU and thereafter provide the software at nominal price.
The choicest software company who would fulfill the above-mentioned reference will then sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ICAI to invent & launch the required software.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will bind the software vendor to provide any kind of assistance & support to the Members via their help desk and to provide a free of cost training to all the software users. The software would be present at all Information Technology Training Centers of ICAI.
