The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is expected to announce the results for the Chartered Accountancy (CA) exams held in May 2025 on July 6, 2025. The institute in May conducted all three stages of the exam, i.e., the foundation, inter, and final. The Chartered Accountants Foundation and Intermediate (Old Course & New Course) examination was held in May 2025 for aspiring students who wish to participate.
The CA Intermediate May 2025 results on 6th July 2025, will be released in an official notification dated June 30, 2025, by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). On the official website, icai.nic.in, the candidates can access their results by logging in via their CA registration number and roll number. For ease, a direct link to check the CA Intermediate May 2025 result will also be shared here. From May 3 to May 14, 2025, the CA Intermediate exams for the May 2025 session were conducted.
Under the official announcement, the CA Inter result will be declared around 2:00 PM dated 6th July. ICAI, along with the results, will also publish the pass percentage for CA Intermediate May 2025, delivering an insight into performance trends across Group 1, Group 2, and both groups combined.
The result will contain subject-wise marks, qualifying status, and rank details (if applicable). Candidates who clear the CA Intermediate exam will be qualified to register for the CA Final course. As per the revised exam schedule of ICAI, the CA Intermediate exams will now be conducted thrice a year in the January, May, and September sessions to deliver flexibility to students.
With the CA Intermediate and Final exams, the CA Foundation exam will now be part of the May examination phase, which is a critical change this year. The Foundation test will not be held in May 2024. However, starting in May 2025, ICAI revised its schedule for executing the Foundation exam 3 times annually.

To check their CA exam results on the above websites, students will need to enter their registration number or PIN and their roll number for the exam.
Students who attended the CA foundation or intermediate exam in May 2025 and wish to receive their results via email can now register their requests by visiting the website icaiexam.icai.org. Upon successful registration, the results of the specific candidates will be sent to their respective email IDs as registered on the website.
Further, the ICAI has made arrangements for the students to request and get their Intermediate (Old Course & New Course) Examination and Foundation Examination results via SMS.
