The amended schedule of the CA foundation exam has been declared by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) which shall start from 24th July 2021.
In some past times with respect to a covid-19 pandemic, the ICAI examination was extended and this will now start from 24/07/2021 all over the world.
“Important Announcement – Revised Schedule of ICAI Chartered Accountant Foundation Examinations, June / July 2021 – 24th, 26th, 28th & 30th July 2021,” ICAI official tweeted.
It is subjected to note down that beneath the new policy the foundation paper 1 and 2 shall be of 3 hours from 2 pm to 5 pm and the papers 3 and 4 beneath the new policy shall be of 2 hours from 2 PM to 4 PM.
“In Paper 3 and 4 of Foundation Examination, there will not be any advance reading time, whereas, in all other papers/exams mentioned above, an advance reading time of 15 minutes will be given from 1.45 PM (IST) to 2 PM (IST),” the ICAI published.
It might be highlighted that there will be no amendment in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the exam conducted signifying a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Holiday.
The online window for correction of the examination city – May / July 2021 shall be resume from June 9 (10 am) to June 11 and the facility will be available on the website icaiexam.icai.org.

On 5/6/2021 an announcement has been made and in context, that the candidates might be aware of the new schedule of the Chartered Accountant Foundation Examinations commencing from 24th July 2021 as per the information provided below.
FOUNDATION COURSE EXAMINATION – Under NEW SCHEME
According to the syllabus prescribed in the policy given through the council beneath Regulation 25 F (3) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.
No revision in the exam schedule shall take place on any day of the examination schedule i.e being revealed a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Holiday.
Candidates may note the examination timing(s):
In the 3rd and 4th paper of the foundation examination, there shall not be any advanced reading time but in the other papers, the exams which are mentioned above shall be provided an advance reading time of 15 min which will be provided from 1.45 PM (IST) to 2 PM (IST).
