Important Announcement for May / June 2024 CA Examinations Dates – (25-01-2024): No. 13-CA EXAM MAY – JUNE/2024 According to Regulation 22 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is delighted to declare that the upcoming Chartered Accountants Foundation, Intermediate, and Final Examinations will take place on the specified dates and locations mentioned below, contingent upon a sufficient number of candidates offering themselves to appear from each of the mentioned places.
Likewise, the Examination Post Qualification Course under Regulation 204, namely, the International Taxation Assessment Test (INTTAT) (available to Institute members) will occur on the specified dates and locations (centres in India only), provided a satisfactory number of candidates express their intent to appear from the places mentioned below.

Rescheduling the CA Examination of May 2024
ICAI CA May 2024 rescheduled exam dates have been released by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. ICAI in the official announcement on February 14th, had shown the importance of the forthcoming General Elections to the 18th Lok Sabha, scheduled for 2024, with the notification awaiting release. The Examination Committee, answering this electoral event is considering a rescheduling of the May 2024 CA Examination to prevent any conflicts with the General Election schedule stand rescheduled and the expressed examinations will now be ruled as per particulars furnished below.
It is reported to the general information that because of Elections to the 18th Lok Sabha across India, Chartered Accountant Examinations, May 2024 stand rescheduled and the stated examinations will be ruled according to the information furnished below.
INTERMEDIATE (IPC) COURSE EXAMINATION

It might additionally observed that there is no revision in the examination schedule in the case of any day of the examination schedule specified above, being declared a public holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Authority.

It has been highlighted that there would be no swap in the examination programme if any day of the examination schedule is announced as a Public holiday through the Central Government / Local Holiday.
The examination beginning timings at Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat Centres will be 12.30 PM i.e. Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat local time corresponding / Equivalent to 2 PM. (IST). The examination starting timing at Bahrain and Doha Centre will be 11.30 AM i.e. Bahrain / Doha local time corresponding/equivalent to 2 PM. (IST). The examination of starting timing at the Kathmandu ( Nepal) Centre will be 2.15 PM Nepal local time corresponding/equivalent to 2 PM (IST).
It is pertinent to mention that the General Election to the 18th Lok Sabha are scheduled to be held in
2024, notification for which is awaited. Accordingly, the Examination Committee may reschedule
May 2024 CA Examination, if the dates of the General Election coincide with the present
Examination Schedule.
However, all other examinations are of hours in duration, and the examination-wise timing(s) are given below:
