Revised Schedule of Nov 2020 CA Exam

As per the latest update, the date and place for the Chartered Accountants Foundation Course November session under New Scheme, Intermediate (IPC) under Old Scheme, Intermediate under New Scheme, and Final Examination under Old & New Scheme Examinations has been postponed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

“candidates of Chartered Accountants Foundation, Intermediate (IPC) (Under Old Scheme), Intermediate (Under New Scheme) and Final (Under Old & New Scheme) Examinations and Post Qualification Course Examinations Cie Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination and International Taxation – Assessment Test, (INTT – AT), who had opted out of November 2020 Examination cycle and had chosen May 2021 Examination Cycle are required to fill their Examination application form for May 2021 Examination Cycle afresh,” the ICAI said.”

Important Announcement – November 2020 Examinations – (02-11-2020)

In the resumption of the declaration on 1st November 2020 in context to the uploading of Admit cards for the changed schedule of November 2020 CA examinations. The institute also mentions the centres must be acknowledged by schools, colleges, and institutions.  

The candidates who have any issue related to the above-mentioned admit card for the containment zone can give their problems on the link provided for the attention of the examination department. It is stated that only students are liable to fill in the information and not any unauthorized person and if found then severe action or enactment will be taken.

Important Announcement November 2020 CA Examinations – Admit card – (1-09-2020)

In resumption upon the declaration on 15th July, 8th,13th, and 23rd October 2020 have developed in context to the amended schedule of Chartered Accountant November 2020 examinations and uploading the admit card for November 2020 CA examinations.

On 1st November 2020 at 11.00 PM, the admit card for Chartered Accountant November 2020 will be uploaded in detail.

The candidates are hereby informed that they must have to stay in touch on the website of the institute, www.icai.org.

ICAI: Fake Announcement of the Postponement of the Examination Schedule (27-10-2020)

On social media, a fake announcement of 27/10/2020 is going viral, which delivers a false statement about the extent of the ICAI examination. It is understood that the exam time duration will previously be notified will start as under:

On a large scale, the students and the public have given the advice not to flow in the wrong agenda encouraged by the particular interest that obstructs the formation of students along with people who are linked in the exam activities. The public and the students are entitled to suggest that there is no alteration in the exam duration as previously announced on 13.10.2020 ( https://resource.cdn.icai.org/61467exam50014.pdf ) as the similar will be ruled accurately according to the duration commenced. 

Indeed the rumours about the exam activities have been concerned with the cybercrime cell so to conduct the elements deal within the procurement of law. 

Students need to be concerned that they must refer to the ICAI website for the announcement and ignore the rumoured campaigns which are incorrect.

Hosting of the Details of Allotment of Assignment as observers for the November 2020 Examination. (26-10-2020)

On 20th August 2020 the notice for the window for empanelment of members to be entitled as an observer for the exam centres in the CA examination held in November 2020.

The individuals who had previously applied for the duty of an observer via an online portal. Conducting information for giving the assignment as a viewer for November 2020 examination 20th October 2020.

10th November 2020 is the extended date on which the hosting information for allotment is assigned.

CA November 2020 Examinations Admit Card and Opt Out Window (23-10-2020)

The announcements concerned with the revised schedule for chartered accountants’ November 2020 examination came on 15th July, 8th and 13th October 2020 along with the optional opt-out for the November 2020 attempts for complete levels have been referred to here:

The admit card for the November 2020 exams will be uploaded on 1st November 2020 and the opting out of the November 2020 exams window from 7th November 2020.

As per the released notification, In continuation to the announcement made on 15th July 2020; 8th October 2020 (regarding the Opt-Out window) and 8th October 2020 (regarding SOP guidelines for examinees Centres and Centre Superintendent/ observers) It is hereby notified that in view of the prevailing circumstances; It has now been decided that the Chartered Accountant Examinations have previously been scheduled from 1 November 2020 to 18 November 2020: now be conducted from 21 November 2020 to 14 December 2020 as per details given below.

FOUNDATION COURSE EXAMINATION

For the Foundation Course under the New Scheme, the Board notified the 8th, 10th, 12th & 14th of December 2020 as the new exam dates.

INTERMEDIATE (IPC) COURSE EXAMINATION –Under OLD SCHEME

Group-I:22nd, 24th, 26th and 28th November 2020
Group-II:1st, 3rd and 5th December 2020

INTERMEDIATE COURSE EXAMINATION –Under NEW SCHEME

Group-I:22nd, 24th, 26th and 28th November 2020
Group-II: 1st, 3rd, 5th& 7th December 2020

FINAL COURSE EXAMINATION -Under OLD SCHEME

Group-I: 21st, 23rd, 25th& 27th November 2020
Group-II: 29th November 2020, 2nd, 4th and 6th December 2020

With this notification, the board also hoped that there will be no more changes in the examination schedule as days of the examination schedule were declared a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government.

Candidates are also informed that two of papers 3& 4 of the Foundation Exam are of 2 hours. Similarly, Elective Paper – 6 of the Final Examination (under the New Scheme) is of 4 hours. Whereas all other examinations are of 3 hours duration. The same is shown below

The Notification also provides information that the Intermediate (IPC) Examination (old syllabus) is extended to one more examination cycle, thus students registered under this can also appear in their examinations Up to May 2021 examination term. It further informed that the opt-out option for students will continue during the conduct of the entire November 2020 examinations.
