Recently, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has announced the launch of a brand new Digital Learning Hub for its members.
This new Digital learning Hub is basically an integrated Learning Management System (LMS) which creates a new kind of knowledge ecosystem to promote participatory learning for ICAI members in order to improve learning outcomes. This new LMS is also based on a collaborative pedagogical model.
Speaking on this new LMS, ICAI President CA Prafulla P. Chhajed stated, “I urge all members and students to visit learning.icai.org and experience this path-breaking reform which also enables fulfilment of structured and unstructured CPE limits”.
The ICAI President has also made an announcement regarding compliance with CPE hour requirements for the current year for its members.
The ICAI president said that the majority of the members were unable to comply with the CPE hours requirements for the current calendar year and block period and multiple requests have been received by the members to extend the final date for the same.
Hence, the CPE Directorate has decided that the last date for compliance of CPE hours requirements for the Calendar year 2019 and Current Block period 2017-2019 will be extended, which is now marked for 31st January 2020.
