ICITSS – Adv. IT Test through Home-Based Mode, Exam Date Announced

Adv. IT Test through Home-Based Mode

The Examination Department of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) made an important announcement on September 23, 2020. It announced that the ICAI will conduct Advanced ICITSS – Adv. IT Test through Home-Based Mode for candidates who have successfully appeared in the Advanced ICITSS – Advanced IT course on or before October 15, 2020. 

As per the released announcement notification the test will be held between 16th to 18th October 2020 and timing of the test will be 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM (IST).  With this announcement now candidates can appear in the test from the preferred location using their own laptop/ PC, but a connected webcam and a good internet connection are required.

However, candidates will not be allowed to choose a date to appear in the test, the date will be allotted by the ICAI on a first come first served basis and as per the volume of candidates. The allotted date will be indicated on the admit cards. Which can’t be changed even after request. 

Candidates can apply only through online mode at advit.icaiexam.icai.org and by paying the applicable test fee through the online mode. The commencement of submission of examination application forms will start from October 1, 2020, and the Last date is October 5, 2020. There is no concept of the late fee so candidates have to submit the form on or before the last date.

ICA(I made it clear in the announcement that candidates who are applying for the test for the first time or who have been granted differently abled concession cards by the examination department will not have to pay the test fee. However, Candidates who are applying for second time and onwards will have to pay a test fee of ₹ 500/- if appearing from India, whereas if appearing from Dubai they have to pay USD $ 150 and if appearing from Nepal INR 850 will be the fee.
