ICAI 7th edition of GST Acts and Rules in Jan 2024

The latest Goods and Services Tax Act – GST Acts and Goods and Services Tax Rules – GST Rules, January 2024 Edition (Seventh Edition) is been released by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI).In a significant stride toward simplifying the tax landscape, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in India has undergone continuous evolution since its inception. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), particularly through its GST & Indirect Taxes Committee, has played a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of GST.

The committee has consistently offered constructive feedback to the Government, organized various events and courses, and produced comprehensive publications on GST-related subjects. Their dedication to GST awareness and knowledge dissemination is evident through regular updates and the release of technical publications.

Excitingly, the committee has recently updated its publication, titled “GST Act(s) and Rule(s) – Bare Law,” to incorporate the latest provisions up to December 2023. CA. Aniket Sunil Talati, President of ICAI, commended the diligent efforts of the committee members, particularly Chairman CA. Sushil Kumar Goyal and Vice Chairman CA. Umesh Sharma.
